I’m Courtney Long, Angel Communicator, Life Purpose Intuitive, Author, and Speaker, and I get it. You’re on a mission of LOVE – not on a mission of making money.
 

When I started my business in 2009 as a Transformational Life Coach (LC), Certified Hypnotherapist (CHt) and Spiritual Teacher, I could care less about money.

In fact, I felt guilty, greedy and awkward asking clients for money or talking about my prices. When my very first client gave me a check, I couldn’t even look at it! 

I was used to earning less than I deserved. Even with a Masters Degree in my first profession, Social Work, I hardly earned enough to pay my bills.  

I started wondering… why do people with a mission of making a difference – healers, coaches, social workers, artists, musicians, teachers, spiritual teachers – earn pennies compared to the average corporate paycheck?

Shouldn’t it be the other way around? Aren’t we the people who NEED LOTS OF MONEY so we can go out in the world and do good things? Like create animal shelters, provide clean drinking water to children and families around the world, end poverty, and share more love in the world?

My frustration forced me into years of self-study, personal growth, and reflecting on the true nature of money and abundance.

I Realized That Money Is Spiritual – Just As Spiritual As Meditation or Prayer.

Although I grew up believing that money was the “root of all evil”, I realized instead that God/Source/Spirit/Universe actually WANTS us ALL to be prosperous and abundant. Not only is it our birthright – it is our responsibility to be rich.

I wanted to manifest an abundance of money, but I didn’t know how. I often cried myself to sleep at night, fearing that I wouldn’t pay my bills or fulfill my Divine Life Purpose. How could I let my spiritual gifts go to waste?

I absolutely HAD to figure out the money piece – how to be successfully and spiritually self-employed.

This meant digging deep and healing my relationship with money, God, and myself.

My prayers were answered with a strong intuitive nudge to travel to Kona, Hawaii where I became an Angel Therapy Practitioner® (ATP®), trained by Doreen Virtue, PhD, best-selling author and authority on Angels.

The irony cracked me up. I was worried about money, and yet my soul guided me to invest THOUSANDS of dollars on this certification and trip. But, I had to open my Intuitive Gifts and connect with the Angels. Once I did…

The biggest obstacle was getting out of my own way and learning how to receive. (As a helping, giving person, do you relate?)
